BAB Celebrated World Accreditation Day 2011
On 08 June 2011, Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) has celebrated June 09 World Accreditation Day in befitting manner.
On this year theme “Accreditation: Supporting the work of regulators.” BAB in collaboration with Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has arranged a discussion program at DCCI auditorium, which was graced by the kind presence of honorable minister of industries, Mr. Dilip Barua as chief guest.
The program was also enlightened by the presence of Mr. K H Masud Siddiqui, secretary, ministry of industries, Mr. A K Azad, Chairman, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and Mr. Asif Ibrahim, Chairman, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry as special guests. The program was chaired by Adv. Moinuddin Miajee, Chairman, Bangladesh Accreditation Baord.
Distinguished personalities from different laboratories, Industries, Government sections, Regulatory bodies and other eminent professional persons were present, delivered speach, shared and exchanged their views on the theme and accreditation prospects in Bangladesh.
